S & TBack to our wedding

Your privacy

This is Sarah and Tom’s personal wedding website for their celebration on 25 October 2028 in Protaras, Cyprus.

Your RSVP

The RSVP form collects your name, email address, attendance plans, party size and any guest names, requirements or message you choose to share. Sarah, Tom and their authorised website organiser use these details to plan the wedding and contact you about your response. Please only share details you are comfortable giving us, especially about health or accessibility.

RSVPs are saved privately in the organiser dashboard and can be exported by authorised organisers. Your response is not displayed publicly. A confirmation email and organiser notification are queued when you save a reply. Resend processes the recipient address, response reference and attendance summary to deliver them. Personal requirements and private messages stay in the dashboard. Email delivery can be delayed; the saved dashboard response is the source of truth.

Your photos

The album uses a shared guest code. Photos are stored in the wedding album and can be accessed by the organisers. Your own photos appear to you straight away; other guests with the code can see them after approval. Your name and caption appear alongside your photos. Please only upload photos you have permission to share, and be especially mindful of children and other guests’ privacy.

Guest album photographs uploaded through the website are resized in your browser and exported as JPEG to remove location metadata before sending. The wedding photos already supplied for this website appear on the public wedding page. Organisers may also publish approved images, video and captions there; they are responsible for checking permission and removing unwanted file metadata before publication.

Your voice and written messages

Written messages, song requests and voice recordings are saved for the couple and their authorised organisers. Voice messages stay private to you and the organisers. You can choose to make a written message shareable with code-bearing wedding guests, but it is only shown after approval. The organisers can download a keepsake archive of their wedding photographs, messages and recordings.

Microphone access is only requested when you choose to record a voice message. You can preview or discard it before sending. Please have permission from anyone whose voice you include.

The wedding guide and your device

The wedding guide uses Cloudflare Workers AI to find relevant approved guidance and write answers in English. General Cyprus information is kept separate from confirmed wedding plans. Only the question you type is sent for this processing; the guide cannot read RSVPs, dietary notes, the guest list, photos or voice messages. Unanswered questions may be saved for organiser review after contact details and unknown words that could be names are removed. These records expire after 90 days. The guide can show Sarah’s contact option, but never sends a message for you. Please keep personal or medical information out of the guide.

The private organiser planning assistant uses Cloudflare Workers AI to prioritise a short checklist. It receives anonymous totals and flags showing which plans are confirmed. It does not receive guest names, email addresses, messages, requirements, photographs, recordings or private codes. Suggestions link back to saved information; the AI cannot edit plans, send messages or publish anything. A standard checklist remains available if AI is unavailable.

The invitation name, practical-guide language and trip checklist are optional preferences stored only in your browser. They are not sent to the organisers. You can clear them using your browser’s site-data settings. If you choose to keep an unfinished RSVP, basic reply fields are retained in this browser tab for up to two hours. Dietary and accessibility notes, meal choices, private messages, consent and private links are excluded. You can restore or discard the draft; it is cleared when you save, switch private invitations or close the private session.

Cookies and hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. The guest album uses a necessary, secure cookie to remember your album session for up to 30 days and apply your 20-photo allowance. Private invitation and reply recovery links use necessary HttpOnly session cookies. Anyone holding your private link can access your household reply, so keep it to yourself. Organiser sign-in uses necessary authentication cookies when enabled. We do not add advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Fonts are served with the website. Map links open Google Maps when selected.

For basic abuse prevention, the server stores short-lived hashed request identifiers and attempt counts. Hosting providers may also keep operational or security logs under their own policies.

Keeping and removing details

Details are kept for wedding organisation and the shared wedding memories. To ask for a copy, correction or removal of your RSVP or photos, contact Sarah at doherty_marie@hotmail.co.uk. Authorised organisers can manage responses and uploaded photos, export a private keepsake, and set a deliberate date to review what should be retained. A review date does not automatically publish or delete anything.

Sharing the link

The main wedding page is accessible to anyone with its link. We ask search engines not to index it, but this is not a password restriction. Please keep the album code within the wedding guest group.
